Knapsack sprayers are one of the most widely used tools in South African agriculture, forestry and fire response. Workers carry them for hours at a time — across rough terrain, in heat, day after day. Yet despite how common they are, nobody had built a proper ergonomic harness for them.
Workers were making do. Absorbing the strain in their backs and shoulders. Accepting fatigue as just part of the job.
SprayBuddy was built because that shouldn't be the case. We designed a harness that properly supports a full knapsack the way a quality rucksack supports a hiker's pack — distributed weight, padded contact points, breathable backing, and a secure, adjustable fit.
Everything is made by hand in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, using quality materials that are built to last in real field conditions. No shortcuts. No compromise.
